ALL THE WISH GRANTORS AND SPONSORS ON THIS PAGE GRANT TENS OF THOUSANDS OF WISHES!
LET THEM KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THEIR EFFORTS!
Make-A-Wish AK/WA - Since 1986 they have granted more than 4,800 wishes. That's equal to a Wish about every two days! When you consider the massive efforts and man-hours for planning, preparing and carrying out each wish, that is simply amazing!
Alaska Airlines introduced the "Spirit of Make-A-Wish" Aircraft in 2006 to celebrate the long-term partnership between the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Alaska Airlines and Disney Resorts to make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions. The special livery features the image of the wish-granting Genie from Disney's "Aladdin" and the Make-A-Wish Foundation logo. More here
Give Kids the World Village is a 70-acre, nonprofit "storybook" resort, located near Central Florida's most beloved attractions. Children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to week-long, cost-free fantasy vacations. It's truly magical and miraculous - I've experienced it first hand!
Give Kids the World Angels (volunteers) have reached 2 Million hours! Think about this: 2 million hours is 228 years, 58 days, 8 hours, 96 minutes.
Visit Give Kids the World to learn the amazing story of the Village, the Castle of MIracles and an Angel on Earth named Henri Landwirth!
Beyond their contribution of donations, Walt Disney World promotes volunteerism through their VoluntEARS program - a priceless gift of the heart. Walt Disney World Cast Members are found serving meals, scooping ice cream, face painting, greeting families at the airport, landscaping, painting, and even entertaining our families through events and shows hosted at GKTW Village. There is no job too small or too big for this crowd!
Without the incredible support of Walt Disney World, Give Kids The World would not have the ability to fulfill the wishes of these special children. Together, they will continue to inspire hope in the children of Give Kids The World by encouraging children to dream, imagine, and wish upon a star.
